In Berlin you have different bus lines that you can use. Most of the time they are cheaper than trains.  Here two main  bus companies:

The tickets are only cheap if you buy it early so hurry up!.

In Berlin, the transportation system is well connected, most of the time everything runs on time and you can schedule any appointment using Internet.

The best way to connect from one place to another is by using http://www.fahrinfo-berlin.de/ 

The time to run of each type of transportation changes on the weekend. The subway runs 24 hours on Friday and Saturday (which is great if you like to go around in the night). Some trams also run all night on weekdays.

During the week the subway stops running around 1:00 a.m. the good news is that at that moment   night buses start to run which follow the same route as the subway so for example the line U7 becomes the bus N7 and follows the same route.

Berlin has a big number of cinemas. Each one is really different from each other.
